What did they want?

Graham and Lucy were undertaking a full refurb of their 16^th century cottage and came to us for support with the kitchen project, having already decided marble was the material of choice. Working with Holmetree Kitchens to design the layout and style of the kitchen we brought their dream kitchen to life.

Our approach?

We advised that marble was not an ideal choice for a busy kitchen, due its softer and more porous properties, however on this occasion, the customer was set on classic Carrera look. We advised the surface look and feel would evolve over time from everyday use, as its important to make sure all our clients are fully in the know, before living with a natural marble worktop.

The delivery

Finding the right colour, tone and pattern was key because Lucy had a specific look in mind and the natural variation found in this material meant that we had to get the slab selection right. Working closely with our network of stone importers we were able to source photographs of current stock and narrow down the right supplier to choose their perfect stone.
